This exciting Barong Dance Performance at the village of BATUBULAN
Rrepresents the eternal battle between good symbolised by the sacred BARONG mystical creature and Evil in the form of the queen by RANGDA which at the end the winner is undecided.

The last scene of this play is an epic from the Mahabharata Story
It is when the KERIS DANCERS in trance under influence of the evil (Rangda), stab themselves with keris daggers without getting hurt - protected by the Barong.

At the end they are revived with holy water which has been dipped with the beard of the Barong .
